Sculptor Tony Furtado wins “Best in Show” at OSA Sculpture Showcase

Oregon Society of Artists recently held their opening night reception for their Sculpture Showcase, presented in conjunction with PNWS, and dedicated entirely to contemporary sculpture. Grey Raven Artist Tony Furtado won two awards for his inspiring work, including “Best in Show” for his piece “Disappearing” which focuses on the loss of habitat and lives of the black rhinoceros.

The exhibit was juried by Joan Gratz, an Academy Award winning director of animated short films and commercials. Everyone at Grey Raven Gallery is thrilled with this celebration of Tony Furtado’s immense talent. You can see other examples of his work for sale at our gallery.
