Beaverton Art Gallery Showcases Washington County Open Studios Tour
October’s featured exhibition showcases the works of several Open Studios artists including jewelers Heather John and Denise Hershey, as well as founders Barbara Mason and Martin Conley. Welcome autumn into your home and wardrobe with a beautiful wooden jewelry box, a stunning pair of earrings or a breathtaking intaglio print. This October, there is sure to be a piece for everyone.
The Open Studios Tour is facilitated by the Washington County Art Alliance, founded in 2010 by a small group of 17 local artists. This organization has since grown to over 200 members, and our locally-based participating studios can be found from Gaston to Sherwood and throughout Beaverton.
Our Open Studios Tour will take place on October 19th and 20th, from 10 AM to 5 PM. As one of five participating art galleries, Grey Raven Gallery will host a reception during both days of the event. And Artist Erik Sandgren (currently featured at Maryhill Museum through November 15th) will do a live painting demonstration from 12 PM to 2 PM.
