Home > Carolyn Pettitt
Artist Carolyn Pettitt has broad experience in graphic arts that has influenced her approach to composition, painting, and printmaking. She worked for a number of years as a photo darkroom technician, a silk screen operator at Tektronix, and a numerical control programmer at Tektronix. For 17 years, Carolyn owned a screen printing business, which encouraged her to continue her study at PCC and PCNA and enhanced her subsequent work in printmaking. Her paintings and creations are whimsical, well-conceived and thought-provoking with splashes of colors and shapes appearing in nature, geometry or from her imagination. She moves easily from nature to non-objective subjects with an informed control of color, design and composition that is refreshing. Her work has been shown across Oregon at a variety of festivals, galleries, and corporate headquarters.
