I started out doing watercolors in 2010, in a beginners watercolor class. I now enjoy painting in my studio on the wetlands which is part of why I’m drawn to birds in my paintings. I also ran a seasonal garden center for 30 years, so flowers have also become a big part of my inventory. I now sell my work at Fairweather Gallery in Seaside, Cannon Beach Gallery, Valley Art Gallery in Forest Grove and on my Facebook page (lieta gratteri) and Instagram (lietag). I also have added gouache to my medium and love the texture it gives me.
